Free Admission Days

  • Free for High School Students: Children’s Day, Saturdays (excluding national holidays, spring/summer/winter breaks)
  • Free for High School Students and Adults: Culture Day

Entrance Fee Exemption System

The following facilities and school groups (by prior application only):

  1. Group leaders (childcare staff/teachers) at childcare centers, certified childcare centers in the Hiroshima City area, kindergartens, elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, secondary schools or the elementary, junior high, or high school departments at the special needs school visiting exhibits as part of their childcare duties or school education duties.
  2. Those enrolled in welfare facilities and facility staff visiting as part of a facility outing.

Any of the following (must present the appropriate certificate, etc):

  1. Those visiting exhibitions who have an atomic bomb disability badge, physical disability certificate, mental disability certificate, special needs certificate, wounded and sick retired soldiers certificate, recipient certificate for specific medical fees (designated intractable diseases), recipient certificate for specific disease treatment, treatment recipient certificate for congenital blood coagulation factor disorders (etc), or treatment recipient certificate for specific pediatric chronic diseases, and those accompanying them.
  2. Exchange students (please present ID that proves you are an exchange student)
  3. Those who have moved to Hiroshima City due to the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (please present your disaster victim certificate, disaster certificate, or other documents that prove you had an address in the Tohoku region)

  • Please bring your ticket to Asa Zoological Park to the Information desk.
  • This discount does not apply to the Hiroshima City Flora and Fauna Association’s Three Park Yearly Passport.
  • Bring your Numaji Transportation Museum ticket to the Asa Zoological Park and you’ll receive a discount on your entrance fee! (One discount per ticket)
